I didn't really have a program in mind when I wrote this piece, although I can remember I was very inspired by John Williams soundtrack for Star Wars: A New Hope. Artology asked for submissions to be of a stirring nature; I generally need a lot of stirring to get out of bed, so perhaps there was some literal meaning to the work's title. There was certainly a figurative message.
