Dei gratia regina (By the Grace of God, Queen) was written specifically to serve as a recessional forThe Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Concert, celebrating Her Majesty Elizabeth II’s seventieth yearas Queen of Australia. The short work culminates with the ringing of the St John’s Cathedralbells, which are tuned in E. All of Heaven sings: “God Save the Queen!”
