As I was writing Introspect, which was already being informed by difficulties in my own life, I learntthat a schoolmate of mine had taken his life. Mental health is not topic on which I can comfortablycomment, but the loss of this one man, so full of potential and energy, was startling. I thus redesignedmy conception of Introspect to speak to a broader audience. The piece was no longer about me but foreveryone who struggles internally. The general dedication – For those battling competingpersonalities – was selected out of sensitivity.
Thoughts are only thoughts, until they become actions.
